I'd just let it settle in the Corny and then sling the first pint you draw through. What can I do then? I've seen inline filters, like this, but it looks like a really coarse mesh, it won't catch a bit of this. I could take the lid off and syphon it over to a new keg, I think this is probably my best option but there'll presumably be some unavoidable O2 pickup.
Took me a while to get that one, I'm a sucker for punishment. Why is there an octopus hiding under your bench? I'll get my coat....
Okay anyone know what's going on here: The glass on the right is the same Idaho 7 IPA as the post in the reply, after a few months in the keg it's gotten much darker, tastes pretty bland (Vaguely beer-y), the lovely hoppy smell is gone and most strangely, the gravity has gone up, it was 1.010 after fermentation, it's 1.030 now. I'm pretty sure the solution is to be a lot more careful not to get any trub in the keg next time, gonna chuck this lot down the sink. The "Idaho 7 IPA" from a couple of weeks has sat in it's keg for a while so on Friday so I had a glass:

Perfect hipster haze, exactly what we were going for. Tastes great too, really light and fruity, distinctly mango-y or papaya-y flavours. First person to try it immediately asked if there was fruit in it. As that poured so clear (Remember I was trying out using a corny as a "bright tank" to drop out the trub we accidently kegged), I made up a hose with ball locks on each end, cleaned and purged a second keg and transferred it over. Note I used a long 1/8" line to make the flow as slow as possible to avoid disturbing the trub.

When it was all done, I went to clean the first keg and was shocked to find almost nothing in it, either the trub has dissolved somehow or it got sucked up (I wasn't keeping a very close eye on it, it took ages), so I poured a little from the second keg...

Cock. I've seen milk thinner.

Is that a Blichmann Riptide pump I spy? What happened to the 12V solar pumps? I'm starting to build a proper setup; three vessel, electric heating, maybe HERMS. Either way I'm gonna need a pump or two.Took me a while to get that one, I'm a sucker for punishment.
Here's the recirculating through the heat exchanger.

There aren't many pumps that withstand boiling liquids. I also have a Toton brewing pump, only good to around 75c so only good for sparging and crap at priming, even with bleed valves added.I've got a couple of pumps on the shelf here but I think they're probably a bit big, 1" bsp inlets, I assume there's such thing as too high a flow rate? A bit more effort to dismantle and clean too.

Is this the sort of thing you used to use? "Solar pump" doesn't bring up many results. There's magnetically driven stainless pumps on there too, around the 60 pound mark, I wonder if they're any good.
I was wondering what sort of hose you're using too, it looks pretty girthy but I wouldn't have thought one of those little 12v pumps has the flow rate to need much thicker than a garden hose.
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I figured out why the gravity had gone up...Okay anyone know what's going on here: The glass on the right is the same Idaho 7 IPA as the post in the reply, after a few months in the keg it's gotten much darker, tastes pretty bland (Vaguely beer-y), the lovely hoppy smell is gone and most strangely, the gravity has gone up, it was 1.010 after fermentation, it's 1.030 now.
