I think it's safe to say when someone is spending £££££s of their own money on seriously large kit they know what they are doing.

you should know that by now. a simple task with the right gear and 80 posts later on the do s and donts by folk who have never shifted owt in there lives

Clive had, I believe, some help with the ££££s. But all credit to him for pulling it off. I doubt there's anyone else on here who could have achieved it. The seller did not make it easy. I think Clive may now have to sell a lot of English Wheels, Vices, Anvils, etc. He's going to be a busy boy!

I’m hoping to get things rolling fairly soon.
Got to clean grinding dust that’s stuck to it first. Levelling is hard work on heavy machinery as well!
I was told the table lube pump had failed. On the butler machines the motor sticks out the side and tends to get broken off by forklifts , this one no exception which is excellent news as I was worried about a machine being used during pump failure and serious galling of the ways.

probably didn't have the senior design engineer on it .....though I doubt moving it will pose much of a problem to clive though...
