I had the diesel heater and mulitfuel stove on in the adjoining room with door open for about 5hrs before spraying but not sure what the temp would have been. What temperature did you spray the epoxy at? Did you pre-heat the bonnet?
Is it Lechler?
Christ, how big is the blast cabinet for that?I'd had these sofa blasted, but there was surface rust
Someone on the sauce last night with nothing better to do?Christ, how big is the blast cabinet for that?
What grade of sofa did you use?
Or did you mean you sat on the sofa in your sitting area and blasted them...![]()

Thanks. The gel is Deox Gel; https://bilthamber.com/product/deox-gel/Awesome job. More info on the rust eating gel please.
Thanks, forgot about these as well. Plan now is to go back to standard first up and will then do a fuel injection and electronic ignition conversion. Converting my 142 at the moment so the Amazon will be the same is the plan. Made up a fuel rail.Forgot about those carb pics until I was tidying up today....... these look any use to you? Look crusty but pistons slide up and down nicely. thought I had the manifold too but no luck with that.View attachment 381124View attachment 381125

Yeah they are.Hs6s?
I didn't Volvo did. That's a B20E head, first Volvo fuel injection engine with Bosch Djet back in 1971. The holders are actually Kjet and fit that style of modern injectors. It's been a bit of research to find out what can be used and what can't. I have a B20e intake plenum and throttle body as well, nice bit of kit especially considering over 50year oldInterested to see you have put the injectors into the head rather than into the manifold. It would be interesting to know your reasoning for that. My guess is it is more difficult to do.
