well langy, I have just spent 3 days might even be 4 reading the build from start to finish, cant believe i haven't seen it before, anyway just like to say what an awesome read it was and unbelievable attention to detail which when finished people will just miss, thanks for taking the time to post up the build pictures and answer people's questions, and giving sound advice, I would love to see a pic of this never ending scrap bin, which in my mind must take up half of your garage with racking to house these so called scrap bits
anyhow, one useless bit of information you may have not known, Jon Kaase won the 2015 engine masters comp with a Y block

Thanks for the thumbs up bud, yes i've done a fair bit of homework on the Y block and knew about the Kaase built motor, in fact ive been in contact with Jon and picked up a lot of useful info and i'm picking up the very same Mummert heads in 2 weeks time in SoCal from John Mummert, i'm aiming for 400bhp, a little more conservative
