My lawnmower wheel. I lent it out and of course a couple weeks later the plastic wheel fell off. £30+ each for a new one. (Hayter Sprint petrol mower)

So I used JB weld and it held up 100%. That makes my first successful application of JB weld. Normally I have problems with it curing but during winter. Summer heat and it worked great.

Finally managed to get the axle hubs off, only took a 15t hydraulic puller almost at max pressure to get them popping, boy was it loud!
Just gotta wait for the seals as the ones originally ordered from the official bobcat parts supplier were somehow the wrong ones despite giving them all the serial numbers

Yea already worked out the correct seals and ordered 4 for £24 via aliexpress instead of 1 for £30+ from bobcat! They sent the seal with the 6658229 part number which is for a bigger skidsteer and was over 2cm too big not the part 6658228 for this 763!

Vespa GTS 300, no headlights or electric seat lock.

Went straight to fusebox to find blown 15 amp fuse. Replaced an all good BUT they do not blow for no reason..

Removed panels and inspected loom in usual chafing points, outer sheath in poor condition but no wire Insulation damage.

Went back to fusebox to see what other circuits the Grey wire ran and ended up at supply for cooling fan relay..

Span the fan, did half a turn and stopped dead!.

Removed fan to find a screw lodged between blades and radiator. Luckily radiator was OK.

These fans rarely come on, 106c for fan activation so it could have been like that for years and due to recent weather just tipped it over the edge.

Glad the "smoking gun" was found as I hate letting stuff out with a question mark over it. Customer was happy to run it for a while if we couldn't find a problem but it would have been back for sure.

The insane heat over the last couple days up here in Scotland got got enough to destroy the battery inside the dashcam!

Got a replacement same capacity lipo and once the original battery wires were soldered on and the lot wrapped it fits in nicely and works.

Had a but of a rush job on Thursday, new piston, valve clearances, engine service, tyres etc on a Husqvarna 450 SuperMoto.

Got it done by 3pm as they needed to be at Scarborough that evening.

Just seen a video of it wheelying around Olivers Mount at full chat so nothing like running it in lol!

Finally got the wear block out of the baler, definitely seen better days
I assume its oak? looks like im going to have to get all @Dr.Al and sharpen the chisels!
I've only got what I assume is sapele or some other type of redish hardwood, I wonder what the wear rate of that would be?

Third window now restored and converted to slimline double glazing in the original sash, the first two took a fortnight each, I got this this one down to 7 days.

5 more to go.

If you come across any that might be handy, I did make one there is pictures in a thread somewhere, finished size is about 150mm square and 45mm thick

You only want what you need due to weight
I know nothing about wood other than what I was told it is heavy and hard

Thanks for checking but unfortunately its going to be a bit small unless it would glue successfully to make a bigger chunk?

A good friend of mine asked me advice about a pantograph, essentially a milling machine but manually moved through a die to cut cylinders openings on aluminum doors etc
Anyways it cracked so either way aluminum or cast iron welding, he's a metal fabricator but this was more a machinist (me) job.
I've recently got my first Tig welder so why not?
First attempts with the little AC/DC 200P
And impressed so far, not the most sophisticated machine as it has no foot pedal nor torch controller capabilities.
As no shown values from either AC balance or frequency but they are still adjustable.
Need more practice with it but still happy with it
