Like all of the true grafters you cannot resist just doing that "little thing". It is bred into some and we all do it. It is what drives us but at least be lazy and have a good Christmas and new year and hopefully you will be raring to go then. Anyway you don't need telly, you have a garage full of beauty to look at made with your own hands. Just sit and look at that, I would!

Keep warm Steve and away from infectious people even family with your low white count. Any sign of a cold get on to the hospital, one of my consultants tore me a new one for leaving a cold 2 weeks as pneumonia is a killer. Watch out for the clinical depression from the chemo they don't tell you about and if they do give you meds for it ask the Consultant to check the big drug book to see if they affect your white count. Mine didn't!

Any help/advice given is based on actually having done the chemo, not read about doing it

Yes got to keep away from anyone with the slightest cold or sniffle, anybody at the door and Sue interrogates them lol

I thought you had been a bit quite of late but hoped that it was because you were catching up on customer jobs, really sorry to hear of the setback. Just keep wrapped up warm and do as the docs say, the shop truck will still be waiting for you when you are fitter and the weather improves a bit.

I really wasn't sure about putting it on here mate as it's a bit doom and gloom but people asked and I didn't want to appear rude and not reply., I actually feel better for letting folks know now.

Sorry to hear of your setback, wishing you a speedy recovery. I too would gladly offer help with lifting etc on your project as i always look forward to your updates. Its only about half hour from Luton to your place and I'm available most weekends (although i am nowhere near your level of skill). Merry Christmas and i hope the New Year brings a huge improvement to your health.
