On brakes mate yes but this is well clipped and only sees 5psi, lots of the older cars had copper fuel lines

Can't say I've ever heard that mate, people have been using copper for fuel since the 40's and I've not heard of any problems ?

It's an adjustable proportioning valve so I can adjust the front and rear brake balance, I have a black one on the way as hate the colour.
Pickups tend to be light in the rear end so it enables me to dial out any rear lockup and balance the brakes

Not so much done today but I got the front shocks stripped and fitted updated valves and heavier oil in them, makes them 30% updated shocks
Got them cleaned and primed and painted in satin black, baked and fitted by teatime

Oh and I turned up the bushes in urethane while the paint was drying

They are 1943 and I thought they looked cool so decided I would try and save them but uprate, they work the same as any other lever arm damper just a slightly different configuration , if they don't work out it's easy to adapt something else as it's only 2 bolts that hold them on

Well the chassis is all wrapped up and put away for the time being as the body came back today 99% done, one of Brads neighbours reported him to the council for working from home so that put a stop to that !!!
I will finish it off myself and get a mate to prime it in my shop.
All the trips to the hospital weren't in vain as I spotted some old hospital beds dumped, I shortened one to use as a dolly for pickup body.
