Super 7 as far as I know
I can't speak for the previous gears! The guy might have crashed it and stripped them, that's how it came to me
My Raglan 5 inch has composite gears on the tunbler so I am guessing they are sacrificial and save a lot more damage.Thinking about it, that may be why the previous gears were stripped. I'd been thinking they were already replacements with them being composite material, but if that's how Myford supplied them originally, it could well be a cockup on RDG's part if that's the case. However, were the previous gears tight to turn, or did those turn freely enough, (we're obviously skipping the stripped teeth point in this question)?

Turned when??They turned freely enough. Genuine original myford are tufnol to act as sacrificial parts of the transmission from what I can work out

He means the original pair that were stripped turned freely enough. We're all as bad as each other for losing the plot here.Definitely beginning to sound like the replacement gears may be at fault, though how they can cock something that simple up is beyond me.
I would expect them to turn freely if stripped. Even they cant get the bore wrong lol If they have not been cut deep enough then thats where I expect the meshing to suffer.
I have had a number of things thus week from Myford incorrectly manufactured. T slot bolts that did not fit the slots, cross slide screw and nut that were tight etc. For starters.
So it would not surprise me if they were out of tolerance.
Looks like it is the gears to blame :/
