who supplied them . and can they shed any light on itI'm at a loss! There's no way to adjust the gears at all and aside from a manufacturing faul I'm not sure what else could cause it

MMMmmmm interesting!I'd have thought it wasn't the gears? ie its done the same thing as the previous gear set that came on it.
My guess is the two gears have been manufactured to the wrong size or tolerance.
