but it can make engines "pink",
My BIL ran diesel fuel in his engine for a few minutes to clean it out.A local engine rebuilder recommended using diesel engine oil in everything. It has more detergents in it and it keeps the insides of the engine cleaner.
Added to the engine oil i hope?My BIL ran diesel fuel in his engine for a few minutes to clean it out.
Especially if you have a sludge trap in the crank.I was always taught never to put detergent oil in an old engine that had never run on it, or it will distribute accumulated gunk into every oil way.
Did you send them that same picture you showed us?Still no answer?
Maybe they would answer you!

I got one too, on the same deal.£145, screwfix had a sale on them and I had a voucher on the top.
Not exactly cheap and the genuine tapes are very pricey, but you can pick up clone tapes from aliexpress (until Rachel bans it) for a couple of quid, and they seem decent enough.
Wide variety of tapes and heatshrinks, and the auto cutter allows you to chain up labels to avoid too much wastage on the lead in.
Handy bit of kit, I've got a job coming up where a few hundred cables will need labelling up at both ends, so it will have paid for itself if that goes through.
