A quick trip to @doubleboost 's this afternoon to drop of his Christmas shiraz and I acquired a nice Bisley

He even left some s***e in the drawer for me

then he palmed me of with some home made egg and bacon pie
it was nice to fair this he palmed off on me months ago but I forgot to post it

it's heavy and destined to be a lamp mind I still havn't finished the lamp I started a couple of years ago, yet this one

They do a really good walking shoe and are mostly wide fit so perfect for someone like me that has a pair of flippers attached to the bottom of their legs.

Having decided that 57 hobbies just isn't enough, I have embarked on building a rail layout.....
Well, I actually saw this Police Class 37 got released by Hornby and I wanted it (oldies will remember the advert for BR it was used in).
As I don't currently have a railway, I also bought a load of track and various other stuff!
Just got to get the garage conversion done so I can play with it

Welcome to another rabbit hole

I used to model the BR blue era, mainly Western region diesel hydraulics

I would suggest building (getting built) baseboards in sections instead of one big board as it's easier to move if needed.

Useful tip: patternmakers dowels make lining up boards easy,
