So much beefier than the cheap set I already had. I'm sure I'll get a few years out of these.

Love the quality, hate the packaging. Foam insert inside a cardboard box is not a long term storage solution. I now need to source metal box big enough to accommodate the foam insert. I doubt this will be easy or cheap. Probably more expensive than the sockets.

Could the clunk in the TT be the hairdryers,curling tongs or straighteners sliding around in the boot?

I did wonder whether it was something in the boot, but it's not long since I had it all out, which is when I found that the space saver spare wheel was flat.

And those work for ever, I have a 1960's or 70's wich is still doing fine.
Heavy brass while the latest ones feel kinda like toys
And o-rings are still good on my oldest 49 torch while on the 73-2 the attachment keeps swiveling enough freely even if the nut is very tight.
I'm actually curious about how old can this set be, because I didn't find anything like that online.
I might have to contact Harris to have an answer, as I most likely have to order a new injector to use it with propane.
If they can't help I will machine one myself

Just nailed a router table for some patternmaking operations.
As my furnaces limit me to about 4 kg maximum weight in aluminium, nothing genuinely large can be cast.
On motorcycle applications,however, there isn't really anything genuinely large, which is a source of great comfort and cheer......

About 18 m of galvanised angle iron. 40*40*5 mm

Looks a bit tatty and has lots of holes but will be fine for its intended use. I presume it was chain link fencing posts. I will fabricate a mobile base for my table saw next week and keep whatever is left for odd jobs.

Nice little steam engine. I gave one of my kids a "vintage" 80s text book last week (schools council - mechanisms) and he asked me for a steam engine for Christmas. I guess they are expensive nowadays.

New ones are,. But you can find them in some Second hand and collectors shops.
