Drop Hide Loose are well known for it. I refuse to use them whenever possible. Unfortunatly I am expecting one this evening.Yesterday, I did not acquire the secondhand router bench due to be delivered by DHL, even though it was said by them to have been delivered , and signed for by me.
Trouble is, I wasn't there at the time......
Still, it's an eBay purchase, so should be standard practice to be refunded for non - delivery.
Smells as though the driver had got behind, and falsified the log.
We'll see.

Since covid, couriers have had government? Permission to falsify delivery signatures.
It was, but I wasn't there to sign.....Isn't the GPS position also recorded at the point of signature...I thought this was the case these days?

Five lovely daughtersAuntie Palm and her 5 daughters?
For the price, I doubt they're any better, it will be the same crunchy threads and weird ugly knurling. Realistically the ones I've got will be fine once I sharpen the tips properly, I'm just being fussy and comparing them to old school Moore & Wright or Starrett.Maker would these jewelers / architects dividers be any use.
If you need hardened points see if Old Bike Davey can help as he is able to harden thin rods or dart points .

Some of the antique marine / draftsmen dividers on eBay have lovely fine easy running threads. I have such a set that cost me under a £10 er .For the price, I doubt they're any better, it will be the same crunchy threads and weird ugly knurling.
