I go to my local , independent, opticians, they test my eyes and do the prescription I then walk around the corner to the actual manufacturer who make the glasses for all the local independents and and they make my lenses up for whatever frame I want, at about half the price.

Got my last couple of prescriptions from asda opticians. They charge the same price for all prescriptions including varifocal includes all the different coatings.

I've seen so many people with badly adjusted nose pads, digging into their hooter. Others have the curve of the arms an inch behind their ear or so short they wear them above the ear.
Does the glazing take into account the distance between your pupils?

Now you've made me look.......
I'd say all you mentioned are pretty close, so not bespoke, but not ridiculously off size either, and they're comfortable to wear and definitely improve my vision.
I'd compare it to buying shoes, you can pay massive amounts to have them custom made, or buy off the shelf for much much less and they will still be comfortable. They don't improve your vision though.......

Considering I'm getting back the money for the AliExpress one, I've got it essentially for the tips that if in good conditions are worth alone the price paid.
Wich is essentially the same thing I've done for the President torch, got for the tip but discovered it's a good torch to use and I'm using it sometimes at work.
The torch alone is 400 euro brand new
The cutting tips are 10 to 20 each
The gouging tips are around 70 to 100 each
The heating tip I don't know, the ones you use with a pipe and mixer on a combination torch are around 120 euro, this one has the adapter for being installed directly on the cutting torch or a cutting attachment if you want to burn yourself (too short distance).
Anyways it's another torch I now have 5 one of which is a 180° head and I'm going to sell it, cause it uses acetylene and different tips(like Harris 6290 but a lot bigger seat) and I've never got occasion to use it really so it just have to go

Contacted by the seller and he said he will buy new barbed hose fittings cause they have been cutted off prior storing and he wasn't aware about.
I told him that it wasn't a problem at all since I already have Harris torches (planning on getting quick connects) so it wouldn't be an issue.
He said no cause he was selling it supposing they were usable and I've paid for them.
He will pay something like 20 euro for them despite I've said him it wasn't necessary.
I have barbed fittings on the hoses I just swap torches

I was given this Toughbuilt scraper/knife for my birthday earlier in the year and never really used it until recently whilst doing the kitchen and it’s been a great tool. Used this weekend for removing sealant from the kitchen worktop and tiles, making easy work out of it. Even the wife thought it was great.
Only downside is the blades aren’t standard with a little square cutout which I assume holds the blade whilst using as a scraper. Having said that I’m still using the original blade that is still sharp enough despite scraping away at grouting.

Hi Mick, well as @Kram pointed out, its not very powerful, i could stall it out pressing it hard into a 6" hawthorn stump, but then im a fat lump, and can stall the 372 if i lean on it hard.

If you dont work it hard and expect to much from it, its OK for trimming small branches.
Wouldn't want to cut more than 6" with it in a hurry,
But if you after something light and easy to use its OK, and the other half likes using it.

Not so much lose them, but I always seem to break the return spring thing, or failing that the lil' clip that holds the tape extended
