Not seen any like that before, what are they used for?
A bonfire cures any packaging problems!Following from the ladder story, I now had two large ladders taking too much space. The shop told me not to worry about packaging as I originally let DX dispose of the original packing. Collection schedueled for today!
Driver initially ok but then he realises the size of it, starts making excuses. Says its not packaged and he needs to phone his bossThey refuse to take it so I say if they come back later it will be packaged.
They phoned and told me, it was just too large to take mid shift with a half full van and lots of other collections after, so asked me to package it, and another driver will come with an empty van.
So, set about packaging. Initially I was going to duct tape a bag to either end, but realised I had the huge old TV box, along with polystyrene, taking up space. Polystyrene is aweful stuff - wouldnt be so bad if it was standard shapes instead of being formed to each item. Broke the PS up into chunks to go inside and wrapped large peices on the end and sides.
Driver pulled up just as I finished tho it could have done with more tape and cardboard around the top.
