my condolences regarding your mum , hope you are coping ok.So do I - which is why I've owned this one for 21 years, and a 16v version for 8 or so years before that. You have mentioned it before - I can't remember if that's a HF Turbo or a HF4x4 picture you have?
Still nothing I want to replace it with. It doesn't often look clean, never mind as shiny as this. Still makes me smile simply looking at it . . . I own an integraleSomething I could only dream of when at uni marshalling and watching them in rallies etc. I owned one within 2 years of leaving uni

I will admit the blue thing makes a much more relaxed tow car, especially on hill starts, although the Lancia makes it easier to get in and out of trials events - the blue thing will sit at tickover on flat grass simply spinning the wheels if you are a bit too aggressive with the clutch, whereas I can't remember ever losing traction in the Lancia with the trials car on the back.
My mum passed away last weekend - but she used to be as amused as me at the double take people, including Police, and especially Golf Gti drivers when overtaken (towing a trailer in the case of the Gti) by a white haired 70+ yr old lady in the "drivers" seat![]()
