I'm a happy bunny. Really did not want to be farting around with return & replacement. A slightly damaged side panel I can merrily cope with.

The vibration dampening strips I made for underneath that printer appear to be working well too. The surface it's sat atop is like a big drum, so a couple of strips of this:

attached to the underside, (with double sided tape), of a couple of pieces of planed deal:

have given me these to go underneath the feet & dull the resonance.

Those interlocking foam mats are useful things. It's quite a dense foam, so comes in handy for a multitude of uses.
