It was. Run a little executable on the pc in order to enable developer mode on the printer, pop an update folder with the update.swu file in it on a usb stick, pop that in the printer & update the firmware from the touchscreen.
The boot logo, you can ssh into the printer, after update, & select from one of several. There's also some updated start/end gcode to go in the slicer, if one chooses. Minor changes, but I've used their code.
Another reason I decided to try this firmware is that with Elegoo pulling out on the planned AMS front, with these machines, this firmware is most likely the one to support one in future. I'm guessing the BTT Vivid may be a potential candidate.
