I have been told off before for leaving names or user names on screenshots by mods before

Its got a 63a plug on the cable and each output is 10a, the manual says it draws like 10w in idle so perfectly fine to test with a 13a plug in spliced into the terminals which confirmed it's working. You need 15 amp plugs for that.
Well, if I'm not mistaken, they're BS546 15a round pin sockets. Its got a 63a plug on the cable and each output is 10a, the manual says it draws like 10w in idle so perfectly fine to test with a 13a plug in spliced into the terminals which confirmed it's working.
Friend is an ex dj (now pilot) and has used them so said safe to power test on 13a.

I have a number of new plugs for that, B&Q had them in a clearance bin. I thought it was worth just for the brass content.Well, if I'm not mistaken, they're BS546 15a round pin sockets.
Ohh now I get what you're talking about lol, I was just using the 13a plug as a reference for how big the 63a is - can almost fit it inside!Well, if I'm not mistaken, they're BS546 15a round pin sockets.

Today I acquired a bit more Temu tat.
None of it has really proven to be actual tat so far, for me. Your stuff holding up okay?
I've never ordered from temu as though stuff will probably never arrive, might give it a go as need 300 ~6x4x1.5" boxes and whenever I search Google all I get is ads for temuToday I acquired a bit more Temu tat.

Just had a look, could get 300 boxes for ~£56 however when you look at the purchased pics they're really thin crap and come just in a plastic bag... Oh well will stick to the £80 for uk boxes that look a lot better!Had a fair few oddnsodds off there now, only one item was a no show and that was down to being out of stock, got the refund without asking. Also rate the tracking, you can keep an eye on shipping/postage progress very easily.

Link?Expensive plastic boxes.
Although in fairness these are far less expensive then the "branded" ones, especially as currently on special offer at screwfix and I had a voucher as well.

Fairly impressed so far.
Cons - not as robust as the better brands, lids a little flimsy and only stand-alone, they don't match any toolbox system.
The interlocking mechanism is just a couple of chintzy plastic clips, unlike the metal bars on the keter/magnusson/erbaurer/ridgid/jcb box system.
I think these are also made by Keter.
However, for the price you are getting a fair amount of storage space, decent removable bins and surprisingly sturdy box - really hard to knock it tbh.
Comparably priced units appear to be made of margarine tubs, these have decently thick plastic.
How would you rate the Hitting Sticks, are they soft blow?
Where am I going to secrete this, without it being too obvious that it's arrived?
Haven't got the gantry painted and rebuilt, either. Have been away, collecting a fence for repurposing (another post).

It's to go with this ...

Checked with my Engineering friend (Civil Engineer) and he said the following about the beam.
From the information you have provided and assume the steel is grade S275 then no it will only take 2.28tons. If the steel is grade S355 the load is 2.58 tons, both allowing for a load factor of 1.6. If you assume the peak capacity without any factor of safety, the beam will take 3.2 tons.
If this was actually designed as a crane then this could be to a higher grade of steel, which I would need the grade to ascertain its capacity.
But he also suggested, because we can't confirm the grade of steel.
The steel grade should have been with any documents/ service logs with the crane. These are a requirement of the lifting Regulations View attachment 497958. However, in the absence of any information we would have to assume the lowest grade commercially available at the time of Fabrication, ergo S275
So despite the electric winch having a 3 ton capacity, you should restrict to 2 tons – which equates to a Range Rover.
Do you really need something this big?
Probably not, but you never know. View attachment 497957
Yeah, I know, I've got the manual chain lift, but I really want to be doing as little as possible, I'm in the 'Old Git Club' and taking it easier because my body is telling me to, or as easy as possible, hence the electricary lift.
