Had a voucher and some reward coins so ended up at just over a tenner a piece, which I thought was good value tbf.

We use this on our wood deck once a year...comes up like new. We usually spray it on the algae and simply brush it in...leave 30 minutes and rinse it off.Everything will be jet washed, gently. Then treated with a solution of Sodium Percarbonate
So on the salvage/repurposing side and nothing metal (except a million nails and screws).
Been lucky enough to be able to take down and recover 6" x 6" Douglas Fir posts, 3.1m 13off and 2.4m 8off.
Still have 4 or 5 to collect, I think 2 are full size 3.1m and a couple that'll need cleaning up as they broke coming out of the ground.
The shorter ones are cut to clean the sharp breaks, they snapped when pushed over and end up around 2.4m.

Fence slats, cleaned and stacked 2.4m 342off. There's a new pile waiting for nail removal.
Including 3 x 2 lengths.

Everything will be jet washed, gently. Then treated with a solution of Sodium Percarbonate with Cocamidopropyl Betaine 30% (Amphoteric Surfactant) added to encourage adhesion. Once on the product removes and kills algae and discourages regrowth. Once it's finished doing its job, after around 30 minutes, all that's left is oxygen and water, so safe for the garden and animals. Simply rinse and leave to dry.
I did a couple of test slats and they looked like fresh bought wood when they were dry.
The 6 x 6" posts are going to be the frame for my new garage, hopefully traditional mortise and tenon. Final designs not finished but planning approval for a 6 x 4m structure received. Mrs. Jaeger doesn't want it that big, but it's my garage, not hers!
The 6 x 6" are quite heavy, hence my wanting the gantry and pully lift (there a bit of metal to finish on).
You're looking to hide your new chain hoist! You've got no chance with a big garage.Mrs. Jaeger doesn't want it that big, but it's my garage, not hers!

I've not used this before. It looks as if those "Oxy" stain removers are generally sodium percarbonate with surfactants etc. Is that what you are using? I have some of the Vanish Oxy powder, so might have to give it a try.....Everything will be jet washed, gently. Thats not rusty, you want to see the one I use!Got two more honda engined lawnmowers. £10 each. This one started on the second pull. I've now cleaned out the carb. Both have rusty decks and will probably be scrapped for spares.
Any project ideas for a Honda vertical engine?

Go back to the auction house and ask them to give the winner of the other auction, your phone number.I struck gold!
At the auction where I bought my 'new' lathe there was also a Victoria Dividing head lot. The same style I have which @RobCox refurbished a while ago (https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/victoria-10-inch-dividing-head-refurbishment.128311/).
On the photos, there were no additional dividing plates. I assumed they were missing, the same as mine so I did not place a bid on the dividing head lot.
My lathe came with a cheap plastic toolbox and guess what I found in there?

Two Victoria dividing plates!
What a lucky find.
Some other poor sod now have a Victoria dividing head without the extra plates![]()
100% no.Go back to the auction house and ask them to give the winner of the other auction, your phone number.
Tell them what you have, and you believe they'll be grateful to acquire them.
Happened to me, I bought a box containing an important accessory for another item that was in the auction, I knew what I was buying.
I received a call from the winner of the other piece and sold the box to them, it didn't even leave the site. That sale paid for my action of other items.![]()

The gears100% no.
I need those plates for my own dividing head![]()
. Are you sure they're just "random"?Ooops sorry. The gears. Are you sure they're just "random"?
