What's more impressive is I didn't reverse in to it broadside, the gate was open (into the wood to the right) and I was reversing out. Stabiliser leg hit the end of the gate end on.Just reverse into it from the other side - sorted![]()
customers car needed some welding. so as this is supposed to be a welding site i thought id show it here

Note how I only bothered to remove the sanding dust from the immediate area to be painted.
I don't have the right thinners for my clearcoat so that's it for tonight, will properly clean everything before attempting to finish it and blend in with fade out thinner.

This was made of a dubious cast material so welding was not an option so i made a plate and epoxied it across the broken casting.View attachment 495572View attachment 495573
It worked out well i cleaned everything thoroughly with meths and emery cloth.
Its now back together and the stock is rock solid
