A rather nice pair of Dutch army issue steel toe-capped boots, which will do me rather well for everyday use, and likely Sunday Best as well.
They are now happily barmed up with Renapur leather dressing, and enjoying every minute of their luxury.

I had a number of old original stanley knives and I removed a lot of original blades from the handles and stored them in a safe place, including the useful hook blades.

Unfortunately I forget where the safe place is. Currently using cheap blades from Lidl but they don't last long.

Blades look good...what's the knife holder like? I gave up on these types of blades because they often get dragged out of the holder when cutting. Interested to know if this one is better?

Since I'm always getting taps and dies or whatever related....
I've found this metal case and I needed to get it

It's 25X38x8 cm
It most likely contained some sort of tool set, definitely too tall for taps and dies set.
Surely not an oxy fuel set because there is nothing inside to secure stuff.
I still have to decide what to use it for, I've initially thought about use it for taps and dies but I've already planned to get a bunch of small plastic boxes to store them individually, so I can organize them properly with labels etc.
I'm thinking to use it for my indicator and magnetic base but it's kinda wasted.
Calipers have their case ...
Any idea?

Paid for an m12 soldering iron in screwfix so will have it in a couple of days too.

Also ordered one of those metal filing pickup wands from screwfix.

Don’t underestimate the torque in that drill. I did cutting out holes for downlights in plasterboard, saw dug in, I swore a lot as I ended with a knackered hand.

This one includes rapid stop - in other words it monitors the chuck and if its going to break your wrist so to speak it stops it happening. There is a little light up panel for that feature.

I have a complete Meister (powerfix) combination spanners set
A Beta art.42 set
But I've just bought this GEDORE one because it was a offered at fairly good price and because it's an heavy design with the box end parallel to the handle which comes in handy many times especially on Mercedes stuff
Anyways got it for a roughly 100 euro and it's a complete set 6 to 22mm then 24-25-26-27-28-30-32mm

Today, I acquired an Amazon.ie Prime account, as a straight swop for my .uk one.
I was aware Az had opened a regional warehouse in Ireland, as some recent purchases had got here the day after ordering, so it came as no great surprise.
On scanning what's available to me now, I'm surprised to find a load of German stuff with free postage, which is good.
I can still order from Amazon UK and DE direct if I want, but postage kicks in, of course.

Pressure switch looks shot so I’m hoping it’s the only thing wrong, if the pumps are shot then I’ll consider selling it on.
It’s a single phase setup currently and bites pumps low on oil.

Lidl currently have BT ear defenders for 30 quid, the spec looks acceptable. Any good? I got one to try.

If anyone has used similar for arb/forrestry, is there a phone app needed for comms or is this incompatable with the other sorts? Somone was telling me he uses a motorcycle BT thing when he is climbing.
