Not today, but Monday.
Another 13 LED 1200mm / 4ft tubes for the workshop.
I cleaned out the stock of the 2160 lumen ones, there were sufficient 1800lm to make up the numbers, but I'll hold off until they get more in.
Would have started fitting them yesterday or today but got sidetracked by a blocked drain.

Well I didn't need all this (only wanted a couple of bits) but obviously had to bid on the lot
Most of it will probably appear in the for sale section once I clean it up, need the money for a back massage after lifting that 63kg chuck (almost couldn't get it back out the car

From the tiniest of acorns a mighty oak tree may grow , have you tried the Chartram suction tube method that used to be advertised in the Exchange & mart in the1960's ?

Working but noisy probably faulty bearings.

Found while looking for an armature for the MSFA 666 C-S because I've found one for this one in the picture .
Happens to have similar lengths and diameter to what I need...
So if it's just a ball bearing I might restore this one if not I'll try to fit its motor into the Fein .
I've already cobbled together one of those Milwaukee's and if it spins it most likely have chewed gears so

My 20 year old WSE200 tig welder died, when I needed to use it of course.
Being a farmer, with Scottish and Yorkshire ancestry, I of course went for the cheapest one I could find on Trademe. Took 10 days to arrive as it came ex Australia from an online seller.
I have tried arc welding and tig (on my office chair) and it seems to run ok. I haven't tried ali yet.
It has a 5 pin plug for the torch, so my old foot pedel won't work, but it was cheaper to buy a new foot pedal from Aliexpress than the fittings to make an adapter.
I think the old one died due to inhaling years of grinding dust, so I will put a cover over this one.

2x Stihl chainsaws non runners. A 08 and 045. Larger 045 is said to run on spray but has carb issues so I have a rebuild kit coming and will try to get it running first. Both appear to have strong compression.
£15 each on FB locally - I paid the guy extra as I thought it was too low for em even in non running basis.
The 08 appears to have a chain brake on it so I'll look into that. It must be a late version as most have no brake at all.

Today I acquired a set . , 3/16 , 1/4 , 5/16 , 3/8 , 7/16 , 1/2 & 9 /16 " hollow mortice machine chisels with their drills to bother some wood .. Yes I know it's a welding site .
I' m going to make a dozen or so lidded wooden boxes that have tenon jointed corners , cutting them on my bench saw to give an inch deep lid & two or four inch deep or greater bottoms once the panels for the lids and bottoms are glued & screwed in place /
I dislike tool unboxed tools etc. , having to ratch around after finding a cable has unwound and tangled with other electrical stuff . I also want a decent sized box/ case to put all my imperial spanners & sockets in .. they don't get much use these days but I need them as my antique lathe is all imperial & it's an annoyance having them in with my metric sets . I've got space for lidded stackable boxes. I also want to have boxes for the various lathe tooling & cutters and

Had a play tonight , cheap deal is not the best wood to make nice things with , but a blind man would be happy to see my efforts .
