Need some more storage on the wagon for those "not used very often" things that can live under the sleeper cab, so OH acquired these from the bread tray mountain at the food bank where she volunteers:

Picked up a couple of 50 tray storage boxes for the workshop so I can carry on tidying up all the nuts and bolts and such like. No more fiddling with my small parts :

Which should tidy up the awkward corner and let me get rid of those flat parts box things which I've never got on with. Invariably what I need is in the box on the bottom...

71 trays of assorted nuts, bolts, washers, crimp connectors, fuses, heat shrink, jubilee clips, springs, roll pins, pop rivets, and other stuff later, just need to label the trays and put them in some sort of order:

I couldn't get on with those drawer units and I went to organiser boxes but everybody is different.

I made racks to hold the boxes, some inside kitchen cabinets.

The linbins hold larger stuff but everything is easily accessable.

Evo 185mm circular saw and tracks.

Finally killed off my cheap black and decker circular saw so thought I'd upgrade. Couldn't justify the price of some of the proper plunge saws.

I like the idea it can cut different materials with the blades on offer. Seemed to leave a very nice finish on some test cuts this afternoon.

Is the idea of the track guide to simply replace using a cheap 15 mm x 100 mm baton the length of the work piece clamped down on it as a guide ?

Next project .... carefully design a self supporting shelf set of folded plastisol sheeting securely bolted at the back & front ends to 30 mm hollow box section with a decent space between the shelves ??

Yes absolutely, also has a splinter guard for less tearout when cutting. 2 x1.4m for cutting down full sheets. Will also suit other plunge saw brands if I ever upgrade in the future.

These are the drawer system they make, but I know what you mean I had boxes 6 feet high in my shed and always found what I was after was in the bottom box

The first of the milled aluminium pieces from jlccnc, forgot to upload the latest part with a chamfer for an oring but can do it myself anyway.

Looks good bead blasted and anodised natural matte with the 3d printed stainless steel rope grab, the remaining parts to replace the last 2 black pieces should be here next week.

So I've been trying to get a discount on this extension cord for the the last month
Nothing to do I've had to pay full price for it
80 euro I've got this aluminum reel/drum loaded with 45m of 2.5mm² H07RNF with two 16A sockets

Then I've got this Breaker K13 hammer for 150 euro.
Practically brand new, and essentially an Italian made Kango KN900

Got one of the compression testers Kram linked to above, decent enough for £13. I’ve got a stihl kombi motor that runs okay - ish but I think it could do with a bit of tlc

Hi, Im sorry to say my test results are not great, it appears to read around 50psi lower than my other one and often more with a lot of inconsistancy, I
dont think these can be trusted. My comparison is against the Husqvarna recommended one here

I did buy it primarily for the 10mm thread adaptor, as I have the Husqvarna one.
Its a shame as in some ways the quick release gauge makes it easier to use - but the small knurled head does not!

I suspect the hose is leaking at the crimp as it rotates easily, or the 14mm thread/oring as it appears the oring is getting squashed out. More testing needed. I may be sending it back.

I’ll see if I can get mine tested this weekend but as I have nothing to go against not sure how it will look. If nothing else I can use it as a comparison between 2 I guess - I’ve got a kombi motor and a leaf blower to try

A fuel tank back in the 6x6

Decided to stop fannying about and cut all the stupid fillers off the top of it, plated them up and then cut an even bigger hole for the EFI pump and sender unit donated from another vehicle. Even slapped some paint on it!

Now to finish all the wiring, apply some "modifications" to the exhaust manifolds and sort out some plumbing for the power steering, cooling and fuel. Then see if my custom ECU fires it up.
