I presume this is for a modern car with can bus lights? If so you are better to use a vehicle specific kit for many reasons. And failing that the next choice is a generic one fits all canbus module but be ready for pain IMO. Proper kits aftermarket for Mercedes at least are about £150 and work great. Have to splice into 2no wires only (can bus) and they work perfectly + talk to the cars parking sensors etc properly

Hi, Im sorry to say my test results are not great, it appears to read around 50psi lower than my other one and often more with a lot of inconsistancy, I
dont think these can be trusted. My comparison is against the Husqvarna recommended one here

I did buy it primarily for the 10mm thread adaptor, as I have the Husqvarna one.
Its a shame as in some ways the quick release gauge makes it easier to use - but the small knurled head does not!

I suspect the hose is leaking at the crimp as it rotates easily, or the 14mm thread/oring as it appears the oring is getting squashed out. More testing needed. I may be sending it back.

A spray of silicon grease on the adaptor union thread & O ring seal and seat might see you get better readings .
As the " O " ring will tend to deform & leak if the seat is not perfectly parallel to the plug base so a bit of lube might just be the correct solution to get a decent seal . I'd also treat the pressure release button seal the same as I've know them to be leaky too.

Adaptor to air compressor? if you have one with an acurate regulator gauge.

Finally had to give in and buy a new office chair for siting at the computer reading about metal teasing etc. it took me and my 9 yr old reluctant helper to assemble to new one which is a very comfortable gaming chair .

3 pairs of lined work trousers from Lidl, from Screwfix a 5 litre pump spray for cleaning the windows and mirrors on the Volvo, (fabulous wagon but the aerodynamics are shocking, the mirrors get clarted up so quickly it's like being back in the 1980's ), and Turkish Delight in memory of my dear old Mum. She adored the stuff and as today would have been her 90th birthday it seems appropriate.

I was loading scrap electrical transfomers from somewhere ewhere near the centre of London a few years ago and bought Mum some proper Turkish Delight from a nearby Turkish bakery.

To say it was a revelation is an understatement, nothing like the modern chocolate coated stuff, it was on a par with the half a hundredweight of Baklava that accompanied it back to Yorkshire . And as OH is a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine I gained maximum brownie points that trip .

Since Brexit we don't get too many HGV's this end of the M4 do truckers still tie rag to their mirror arms to flap & wipe them clean or is it now illegal ?

Now time for testing and confirming it all works before dealing with kickstarter and putting an order in for 200!

It's a combination of a centrifugal rope grab mechanism with a progress capture rope grab built into one device. Weighs and costs less than a petzl asap/edelrid fuse.

I doubt it's illegal, in fact I'm going to give it a try tomorrow.

And it's not just the mirrors that get filthy, the windows are as bad, the problem being that the steps are covered when the doors are shut and as the cab is so high you struggle to reach the windows to clean them, hence the pump spray.

I was in the yard most of Friday, shunting trailers around and trans-shiping loads, so I managed to give the wagon a damn good wash. Considering she's nearly 8 years old with over half a million miles underneath her wheels she looks superb, but she'll doubtless be black again by 10 o'clock tomorrow...

Depends if used as a protective device or just as a lanyard/work positioning device.

Theres no standards for what that is designed, lead soloing, it is very high risk as theres currently no single device that can reliably catch you. Infact I think this one is only intended as a backup for use with a robe grab/shunt type device.

EN 15151-1 could cover some aspects of its use.

Certification would be great but unfortunately way too expensive and would cost more than any profit I make.

Good guess, it's a centrifugal cam mechanism with integrated progress capture rope grab. Effectively it's a combination of the petzl asap and micro traxion but in a more refined design specifically for lead rope solo.

It's designed to solve one of the remaining problems with LRS which is upside-down falls/dealing with backup knots - it gives you the freedom of worry and looks like a bell hence FreeBell
