Yes, same principle.
You get a huge amount of clamping force from them, they're fantastic clamps. (Like all Carver stuff.)

Accidentally acquired this Esab Sentinel A50
With 2 extra protection screen
A Lincoln headgear
A fixed din shade 9 glass in it instead of the ADF
Plus a cheap strange autodarkening true colour helmet which has the right dimensions but It ha a veri big and strange control HUD so It doesn't fit .
I've adviced to buy It ,later discovered the scam, impossible to cancel the order ,paid myself , and got it
Ps yes I've censored my face

The Radio - Voltmeter would be used to check Low Tension - LT, typically 1.5v and High Tension - HT, 90v on valve sets.
The scale is non-linear, so it may be a moving-iron meter.
The typeface used for "Radio - Voltmeter" looks German, and the "DRP" - Deutsches Reichspatent - confirms this.

The "Sharpie" copies work just fine. Like a sharpie albeit the lid clip is obviously fragile.
The long nib markers work well. Should be good when marking out holes through something already drilled.
The white markers work better than expected. Straight onto greasy metal. Needed a firm wipe to remove, so should be good enough for marking out on dark surfaces.
Not sure how long they will last but very cheap!

That's exactly what my missus used to say.
The money I spent on hobby toys over the course of a year did add up, but on a weekly basis it wouldn't have bought more than a couple of rounds, and nobody would have thought twice about it if I'd been doing that.

Look at the base of the case.
There will be a date stamped onto it.
That will prove the case is if the right time period. Does not prove it was made then.
If the brass polish up the same way if may be of the same age.
