Today I acquired...........

Got this extract fan set up that was being scrapped because it's allegedly noisy in operation. Been replaced with a 10-pole, 200+Hz motor or something plus inverter.

Removed working!

New cowls and brackets that came with the new fan but not needed. Motor with multi blade impeller.

I don't doubt that, I used to live about two miles away from a grain store and had to sleep with my window closed the nights they had the fans running!

Today I acquired a two year MOT, on my sh1tty pug 406, I changed a dead fog light this morning, had already multiple bodged the exhaust, went to sort the headlight alignment, discovered the alignment mechanism was dead, wedged an offcut of metal tube wrapped in cardboard, in the headlight alignment thing, and it passed.

I was very glad.

150mm pulley with 19mm bore, for an on going project.
Plus some Scotchbrite.

Charity shop find, £5.
Brand new, even had gas in it.

Got this today.

Did a couple of test pieces on anodised aluminium.

Hole on left is 6mm dia to give an idea of scale.

Also did this, again hole on right is 6mm.

Very impressed with it especially as I have no ide of the power and speed settings to use and just plucked some numbers out of the air

Another high torque impact, one key this time. 2 more 5amp batteries and a rapid charger.

A headlamp beam tester/ setter used untested.

And 2no Inverter arc welders which are not working and need some fettling but I liked them so bought them anyway. Oops. One was GYS made in France unit and the other is a thermal arc. I will likely need to create threads on here to seek some help from those who know welder electrical problems better than me!
