... today I acquired the right to a free 4Ah CAS Metabo battery ....
... and actually undeserved, if you like:
On 08.09.2022 I bought the straight grinder I presented HERE (what a beast!) ...
... which I bought without a battery to save money ....
.... today I find out that Metabo is running a promotion from 01.09.2022 to 31.12.2022, where you get a 2 or 4Ah battery for free if you register the tool within a certain period - in addition there is a warranty extension for tool and battery.
My registration is confirmed, I am waiting for the battery.
I don't know exactly which promotion is running in the UK and Ireland at the moment, just have a look HERE if anyone is interested.

I did, once upon a time . They all said I looked like Bonny Prince Charlie or was it a right Charlie.No, never, - I wouldn't have the figure for one, I'm too 'pencil thin'.
This fine example of a power washer dropped off very kindly by Cheb. Hopefully get it apart the next few days and see if I can get it going for hot water, otherwise I'll try and get it going just as a cold water electric pressure washer. Thanks again

Not quite today but thanks to a generous fourm member just before my holiday this leather and leather shears turned up for a knife sheath project
As suggested a bit of fetteling grinding the flats down on the shears and cleaning the rust off back to cutting very nice and smooth
Looking forward to butching the ancient craft of leatherwork

Some tyres are made to be folded, I've got some gravel tyres you could screw up into a ball if you wanted. It does seem to mainly be gravel and MTB tyres though, most decent road ones I've seen have much stiffer bead/sidewall and you'd almost certainly bugger them if you folded them.One folded bicycle tyre from spain. Note the protective paper packaging
Previous folded tyres have turned out to be damaged with buldging side walls, but Im hoping this one will be ok.

You seem to buy an awful lot of tyres, are you wearing out the back wheel doing skids?

It depends if the bead is steel wire, nylon or kevlar, but they cost a lot more - foldable tyres are generally road bike stuff?
Its the 3rd - not pairs! The first one was a 32c Cross/gravel type, and I needed another for the front. Amazon wont allow me to buy it, so ordered a pair of these 38C's. All 3 from spain, only two packed properly.
