Ive finished by radio controlled paddle boat, (seen here in my kitchen sink). Its scratch built from styrene sheets and rods and no 3d printing has been used its construction

and here its is on lake part way thought its construction

Well, I 'made' my welding trolley into a better welding trolley today, added space for a second gas bottle, plus raised the migs shelf height to fit my new tig underneath.

A homemade pipe fitting for a 19mm bilge pump hose. I thought I had a couple of weeks to work on it, he'd now like it back on the water ASAP, and there's no chance of me getting the correct fitting locally. I'm expecting nothing of it, it was done out of curiosity than anything sensible. That said, if the old ways are always better then this must be excellent as the Romans used wooded water pipes.

100% for ingenuity, but I'd hate to be the target of a board of trade enquiry if it failed at a critical moment and the boat sank.

Agreed, I should have a used a more suitable material, oak or iroko, but I didn't have to any to hand. I mitred it as I thought cutting a hole across the grain would have been a bit of a bodge.

No , The knob is made from Delrin and the bar is aluminium .

It's for dibbing holes in our six hanging baskets so I can plant out several hundred trailing lobelia . The fill of th baskets o=is several years old and is wll matted up , I used a big screw driver to poke th planting holes last year . This year as you cansee I've gone posh and made a handy little dibber . Only fur more baskets and another tub of lobilia to rip befor the sun gets to warm .

It could be classed as air cooled I suppose or maybe oil cooled or maybe air/oil but it is definitely not a V Twin unless you can call 4 cylinders inline a V Twin

Threaded some stainless M20 x 1.5 each end and welded on a couple of washers to make extensions slides for the wee brake, pic shows new with one of the originals.

Once fitted I cut some 10mm steel to make up a table that sits over the brake.

That allows me to slide the tooling to any of the vee's

Tested it out and works great.

Tedious. 12 (24 semi circles) of these this week. Sheets plastic coated, marked and cut out, then joined. Ready to be formed into cones.

Started this some years back and discovered a) it isn't quite finished and b) I need it for next week (yesterday would have been better), can you tell what it is yet?

I have bought some long Stainless steel screws as I will be boring the ends out and adding some brass buttons on the ends. I went to see my favourite grinding company yesterday but they don't have a fixture to hold the Bolt as you cannot remove the handle, so I will be doing it myself using my own lash up.
