My connectors from amazon still in China. Most of the month in Wenzhou, yesterday Shanghai and today Zhengzhou. Its going the wrong way if its supposed to be on a slow boat?!

Mine arrived pretty quick, around 2 weeks from memory. Though saying that my M10 adapter has been 30 days+ so far, so seems to be luck of the draw!

Can I ask about AC wave forms? I seen welders with square, triangular, soft square wave patterns besides the sino wave. Does it matters? On 206 I only have one kind of wave. It's like pulse I think almost every new welder has it but it is rarely use on workshop condition. Prove me if I am wrong.

I don't think they matter. My other welder has a few wave forms.They alter the weld a little I suppose but its nothing you cant compensate for on the Sherman by changing your parameters such as amps, frequency, travelspeed etc to suit.

Hey Mark,

Yeah, my bad about the late reply. Been having a go just sticking stuff together in the back yard. Went to a local welding store, bought some gloves, a passive mask, extra glass, an electrode holder, and some 6012 rods. So I've only used the stick functionality and that's been fun. Got some pieces of mild steel from a local junkyard and I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I did not order the pedal.

I had ordered from Weldes on Friday and it shipped the same day. It was delivered by GLS the following Wednesday.

If I recall you press and hold the two arrow buttons then power on.

More or less any conventional type foot pedal will work.

I too would think this, after all it is just a pot, but I'm wondering why weldes are selling 6 different pedals ( seemingly the dedicated 206p pedal is sold out) all, for differing Sherman machines.

I used 0.75mm² but the original is 0.5mm².

ok the only waveform that caught my eye was the mix one ac+dc. I´m asking because some welders have it so i wonder about it. its like pulse ,a must not. i be fine with straight dc.

I've never used that wave form Paulo. Only triangle, square and sine.

Advanced Pulse/MigTig or whatever they call it (AC mixed with DC) will give much more penetration with all other setting staying the same.
Could be handy if you are going into the upper ranges of amp/material thickness capacity.
@ 11:30 in this video as an example.

It's got a hidden menu with a few parameter options but no ability to change AC waveforms. Search this thread for `hidden' to find some screenshots with the variable parameters.

What size of Rectus 21 bulkhead fitting is needed for the front gas connector? Seen 6/4 mentioned but also 8/6. Not going to use the M10 to 1/4 BSP adapter in the end as it's a bit bulky.

It is a nice waveform option to have. The Hitachi has it, as does the CEA and the EWM iirc
