Mine was waiting patiently in the hallway for me when I got back from holiday yesterday. It'll be a while before I get round to playing with it. But I think that from what was said above it's a great little box. It's in a drawer in my storage shed at the moment.

I used my little 200amp MMA again yesterday making some prototype steel wheels for a possible new product from me, as it was a none-production job I decided to have a play and use the little Chinese MMA rather than my MIG.
This fabricated sub-assembly consisted of 5mm plate centres welded with 2.5Ø rods into rims cut from an old Argon cylinder; So far so good.
I have now acquired/found some 1.5Ø, 2.0Ø, 2.5Ø, 3.2Ø and 4.0Ø type 6130 electrodes and "something else" to give this little welder a proper running photo review with, I just need to find the time to do it.

Mine arrived a few hours ago. Cables made up and stuck a plug on it. Few pics of the inside. The boards are fairly solidly mounted but some of the connections are not great, front panel LED for eg. When the box turned up I could not believe it, won't so much fit in the welding cart but be lost in it. I m totally new to stick so having a crack at the weekend with a mate who does it all the time.
The manual that came with is all in Chinese.
Gareth, don't know the protocol on a review post, so hope you don't mind, but could move / delete. Looking forward to pics of your welds with it.

Seems as bad as I thought
Essentially it's small scale welder ,but I wouldn't go over 120A with this little box

Your experience with what is essentially the same machine as mine will only widen and improve the overall review.... so please go ahead, but let the readers be able to differentiate and see which of us is posting at the time
Just one machine could be a "right good'un," it could be an absolute pig, or anything in between. The more of the same model that are tested and reviewed the better as the information will begin to form an average for those who may consider purchasing one in the future.

Thanks for providing those photos. They are clear enough to see the small bits & pieces.
It is very compact inside as Memmedu predicted early on in this thread.
I think I can see 3 heat sinks directly behind a fan. Making the case bigger would have not added much extra weight, and would probably only added couple of quid to the manufacturing cost at Chinese prices. This would have probably increased cooling efficiency. Maybe the manufactuer focused on the very small size being a key selling point.
I feel this thread will be a very balanced & wellworth review overall, when each owner has shared their view.

Finally got a chance to give this little box a whirl. I am a terrible terrible MMA welder so I thought I'd put it up against my nineties EWM TIG in MMA mode.
Here's all you need bar some metal to make a fool of yourself Bottom-left corner are some 10-25 to 35-50 adapter leads I knocked up as my gear is all 35-50.
OCV of both units. Ignore the second meter in the first shot I was comparing one to the other.
Now the "welds". Have fun X
The ZX7 felt a lot more sticky than the EWM but the huge difference in OCV probably explains that. To me I suck equally with both so that suggests the wee thing actually works
Dial seemed a bit high for what it needed vs what it said so I suspect it's more like 160A or 180A than the 200A it claims. No way to test that though as 2.5mm and 3.2mm 6013 is the entirety of my stock of MMA rods.

I'm assuming you have purchased this from eBay? If you have then the seller pays for ALL return costs.
The plug is very loose. Bought it off Banggood and have had correspondence with them showing pics etc and awaiting there response. Might be a good excuse to buy a 3D printer to make a new one.
