I wouldn't want to drill 20mm holes that deep by hand but I suppose you could.

Now I've thought about it a bit, with a big angle plate and some machinist jacks it wouldn't be so bad to do, especially doing a few at a time to save breaking the setup down for each one. Now we just need someone with a capstan lathe to knock out all the screws and guides.

the holes could easily be cored.
maybe with m10 all thread? then you could use bolts as the guides, with an hdpe tip?

or cored smooth and just reamed/finished drilled

Wow they are expensive. I was given a brand new one a while back along with 2 cases a Mobil grease. The gun has nearly been in a bin a few times, I hate the damn thing.

I was given an underpinning prop by one of the lads i work with (he wants me to see 60 off them)

I also have a stool i built 3 years ago i used it at the computer as it was shaped to my bottom i find it comfortable no else does so it became my welding seat. Well its at the wrong height an not overly adjustable that's since been sorted it does need re-doing as the leg angle is terrible.

Found in a box of old metal separated next to a skip for the metal recycling collectors.

Plane is a Bailey plane, are they any good or a generic tool brand? It’s in a very bad way and will need a soak in the citric acid bath, may be beyond repair. The handle has split at the fixings too.
Torch is a BOC and has cleaned up ok and is gas tight, needs a new tip.
Gave the adjustable spanner a wire wheeling and a splash of WD40 and it’s come out almost like new.

Some DIY clampy things and a lovely cast iron 90 degree surface plate. Needs a little cleaning but more than good enough for my needs.

Not so much aquired but found again.

Bought some LH drills from @scottmk1 last year.
Left them safely on the kitchen side with my other important "junk" (the wife)
Ripped the garage and house apart trying to find them a few weeks ago to get a stuck dogpoint out.

Rooting around for a kettle lead tonight I find a bag full of missing bits including these.

Now safely stashed in my drawers.

Not today, but on Tuesday I acquired some space in my lockup, sold my J&S Surface Grinder and the buyer wanted it delivered up to Junc 29 on the M1



And then stopped off at Junc 28 on the M1 and this followed me home



Say hello to the new toy

Dissappointed I had to let the J&S go but just couldn't fit it in the workshop
