There is also this thread about a Harrison 600
Yes, that's right, the contactor I've marked as 3 is for the spindle, the switch marked 2 is the spindle switch, the coolant pump switch is marked as 1 and the contactor marked as 4 has the black wires labelled A, B, and C which go to the power feed for the table. No need to do that - it's a really simple system.
You've got two contactors, a start button NO, a stop button NC, a spindle direction switch and presumably a coolant pump switch.
The first contactor (with the large numbers 21) is for the spindle by the looks.
The second contactor with output cables A,B,C seems to disappear off into the machine. I'm guessing a table motor for x-axis travel? Must have a separate button or switch somewhere?
Tell me what the second contactor is for and what sort of button/switch controls it and I can draw you a diagram.
Thank you but that is for a Harrison M300 lathe, I'm looking at a Harrison milling machine. I think the M300 lathe is still in production but they haven't made the mill for about 40 years. What model is it as there are some wiring diagrams on this very website Wiring diagrams
That is very similar to mine but he has the vertical head as well. Front panel wiring is similar but without the foot pedal switch and it's cleaner and tidier than mineThere is also this thread about a Harrison 600
Ha, okay, I'll draw you a diagram okay. This is the switch for the table with the black wires from the contactor above labelled A, B, and C going to it:
