how many times if any would you need to do one or anything that large. i have a nice old churchill bench drill and never needed a floor one in 55 years. anything big ish just turn the adjustable table round and put the part on the base. id keep the one thats robust with out any wear and the biggest motor
In terms of biggest motor the SIP wins that one
Seems like on 240v they are
Sealey 600w
SIP 1500w
This is where it gets confusing for me and you guys probably know better.
The SIP motor does say 3 phase on its plate.
It was wired with 4no wires.
The Hitachi variable speed 3 phase inverter I presume it is now has 3 wires going into it from a 3pin plug to 4 wires coming out again.
So - this SIP drill is 3 phase then is that correct?
Or is it some 240v non 3 phase but extra wire for somfink?
