My first and second bikes were CB100Ns. Same blue as well.
First one had managed to almost round-off the cam sprocket! Cable-operated front disc brake; one was superb, the other dire. Never managed to make them equal. Had to remember which one I was riding

I figured out that I could plug the bunsen burner into the swan necked taps in the chemistry lab. It was a spectacular success!Bicycle pumps with a hard seed pushed in the end were pretty effective.

Mine was the gold one. Bought it second hand from a dealer for £149! Eventually sold it and bought a D14/4 Bantam for £65. How times change!

There was a big problem a few years ago, the Bristol “ladies” used to buy an Awayday ticket & ply their trade in Manchester road, Swindon. There was a lot of fuss about it at the time as it is a residential area, I think the council drove them out of Bristol, they even ended up with a name, something like Awayday tarts, I can’t remember what it was now.No, the nightfighters hopped on the train to London, to entertain us lot
Yes the rigid frame bone shaker. I then 'regressed' onto a Capri scooter, but then saw the light and got a BSA C11G. Foolishly then I got an Ariel Leader - what rubbish! - that was replaced by a Sunbeam S8 - those were the days !!!!!
My first male menopause event was to buy and rebuild a second SUNBEAM S8 when I was 50, but I sold that to help pay for first daughters wedding !

One of the local bike shops had Ariel3s for a while. I went in one day and there were three bond bugs, went in another time and
the shop had loads of the yellow ajay scramblers, some mounted liek low flying things on a sort of scaffold display. Went in
another time and there were lot's of funny looking three wheel mops. I never ever saw one of them on the road, would I have
noticed one? Did anyone really buy one?

One of my fav jap bikes,bought a 2 year old with almost straight thru pipe,never used the kick indicator window,but an easy starter,had a soft Avon mudplugger,you could throw it around corners enough to be concerned about ground clearance,great for wheelies,got banned from the pub for entertaining people with long wheelies as they were bored with Morris dancers.The Suzuki SP370 was/is like that.
Put my knee out once with me lying on the floor next to it.
I bought it around 1984, and I still have it.
,regularly used to give a lift to a bloke on my way to work half way thru a 18 mile commute,once ,without the pillion,the gear lever fell off on a level crossing,9 miles home in top!Found it the next day.
