I would say if thats what you "have" to do then ok, but I don't think we need too settle in 2025. I love my 03E, BUT if i can improve my experience and stars align then why not?craig imagine if you had to use papr with green lens and look through 5 layers of plastic
Sadly not. One of the MANY things I truly dislike about this country and envy the crap out of the USA is lack of stores and even with a store its lack of choice, very different to the US where even Lowes/Harbour Freight have an array of welding stuff....we sadly have nothing like that. its mostly online and even then choice is fairly limited.
I may not be enlightened to the options we have as im very new to welding, but this is how it seems to me.
So I can only go on my understanding, which is the VC is a better built helmet with better headgear (mostly irrelevant for my needs i guess but a bonus none the less). Colour control, it seems that will improve the clarity of which i can see the puddle, being 50 with a glasses requirement and astigmatism I need all the help i can get.
Im going to overlay the yellow r-tech filter on the 03E today and see if there's a difference there.
As always I talk myself into something even if the benefit is negligible, but i also see it as a one-off expense, its not like i will need to replace a helmet every 2 years.
