Busy one me this weekend. Got to fix two generators and a pressure washer. Do a tip run as my man cave is getting messy. Need to concrete two frence posts and fix 3 fence panels. Decorate my little boys room including painting skirtings and door. Then the Mrs wants me to cut the grass too.

Kids are also due some sort of out of home activity.

Better get to sleep.

Whatever you do John, please try to make room to keep the Boxford, you have a great following of Boxford lathe users, I built the ER32 collet chuck, what a useful piece of kit.
I hope you do more accessories that are suitable for this machine, keep them comming.

Getting stroppy!
My load load of steel did not turn up yesterday or today, I have until the 13th to start and finish a big complicated job and had planned to get the basics done over the weekend. Ptchaaa!
Looks as though I will be working like a loon the next two weeks.
I am promised it first thing Monday. I do hope so. I feel mean getting shirty with telephone droids.
Today I managed to get through to somebody senior. I said 'I know it is not your fault, can I speak to somebody who's fault it might be' and I did! So I did get shirty with them.

My partner and i have vowed we are going to tidy up our b̶u̶i̶l̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶i̶t̶e̶ home this weekend.

Ive already stuffed the disco with as many crushed 20ltr tins as i can fit in it for a trip to the scrappy tomorrow morning (i still have not built my can crusher, and my trailer is off the road)

Will call in at the builders yard on the way back, smash up some pallets, and then onto the sorting.

So nothing exciting at all, but it needs to be done.

Finishing painting the workshop, got 3 coats on the clean room today using a brush as can't be having paint spater on me tackle. Bit of jointing work needs finishing too. Hopefully get time to insulate the loft space, just stuffing rock wool in the rafters, take more time to buy it! And measure how much copper piping ill need and get the battening and ply up for the air lines and condenser. We shall see how far I get

I have had a day trying....and failing....to get the rear squirt to function when actually ON the Octavia.
While I was soaking the 16 year seized lock I managed some turning and have an acceptable ball turner for the LT gearshift bushes.

Tomorrow is a whole other day.

I hate planning.
