I'm trying to resist the temptation to go through the scrap however there's a few bits I've already spied that may find their way onto my stock pile

Spent the morning burning brash, (tree prunings ) late lunch ,then I'm off to the yard with the dogs, unload a load of this years fire wood into me wood stack ..then load up a few days worth of logs from last year ...the dogs will sniff around then I'll take 'em for a walk ...back home ,light stove, chill.....edit I don't know I ever managed to work full time ...

I will hopefully be doing some more rust removal on the wing I bought for my project Saab. This is after overnight in Deox C solution. You can see the line where solution has cleaned up to, leaving the oval patch of ingrained rust:

I have decide to head out to my way to small a Garage . In saying that at least I have to work on my projects that have spend many a good and bad hour there.

Got the painting finished in the "clean" room. Started painting the "dirty" room and got the last of the jointing done. didn't bother to sand down the jointing, to much dust and it is a workshop! Just going to put another coat on then beer time

Battle of the bands as well!
My mate ran the Bath half a few years ago, he was frustrated that the hoards of runners meant he couldn't get up to his ideal speed, all of a sudden a gap appeared in front of him so he surged forward and ran straight into a traffic bollard and winded himself in the process!

I spent the morning helping move a very rusty 1988 Mini shell onto and off a trailer to it's new home. They really do seem to rust for fun. I only mentioned "Heritage Shell" fairly loudly a couple of times. The vehicle has sentimental value apparently but that didn't extend to the engine that had been sitting outside for years which was rusted solid and then some.

Sorry to be a dull guys but thought I would share. My weekend didn't really go to plan. Had a call early hours this morning from my mum to let me know my poor old step dad had passed away so I've been making sure she was ok today

Some of you guys seem to be doing some fun stuff. Hope you all have a good one anyway.

Spent Friday night with my mum and stepdad in my local which was splendid. on Saturday it was my birthday and the wife took me for a meal in Manchester that cost more than the massive teng socket set I've had my eye on, then a few cocktails and a late night trip on the wheel at Picadilly Gardens then back to a swanky hotel.. should have been at a rally today but the weather looked a bit poo and my days of spectating in the rain are gone so spent the day getting ready to balance some 20ft fans at an incinerator plant this week.
