Guess if your fit up is good and the material is thick enough and you can get the puddle to flow from both/co e together then why not? I've used mild filler (mig) to weld plenty of stainless, mostly needs must exhausts, flows well and holds well. Take in mind I am a stick it together kind of bottom of the pile kind of welder haha

I blew a girt ole and thought-filler rod cooly pooly abit, bigger rod-more cooly downy, only got thicker gas rod, have a go then, worked. It will of course crumble into dust when X rayed but it aint gonna be coz it was a tool box lid.
.That's cheaper than I was expecting, I think I'll have to get a pack, probably 1/16". Are they okay for all types of stainless I'm likely to come across our do I need a different pack for each flavour?
