A thread for any random pics of what you may have welded today.

I know you have all seen thousands of trolleys but sadly I had to make another today for my Tig not something I wanted to do but it has to have a home, I try to come up with new idea's and anything to make day to day life easier, this time a simple rotating 360 deg torch holder for both (only one shown - tig) plus a holder for the TA30XP also not shown. Will post up some more pics but here is where I am after today, if you have any images of your days work no matter what post them up and lets see what you all get up to..if you can be bothered that is.

I don't class myself as a welder, just someone who sticks things together, given the likes of Akrapovic and some on here..

I couldn't stick two bits of toffee together if I sooked them for an hour, I do have an R1200GS though and Iv'e been riding since I was 12, bike's not got a carpet though

I finally got a stand fitted to my latest fish sculpture today.

That fish is well awesome mate, top stuff, are the rays/bones wotsits on the fins welded on?

On the leading edge of each fin I add a length of 8mm bar for strength and definition, the rays are just laid on as stringers of weld.

I haven't welded anything today been under an old fire engine gas cutting all the body mounting brackets off it.

A batch run of Pallet Dismantling Bars this morning, and then I began work on the basic frame for the pedal power medicine show I currently have on order.... this will be the 3rd one of these I have made.

It's a mobile tyre fitters body. Compressor goes in cage at front and the back is full of draws for tools, the tail door comes down vertical on chains and acts as a workbench.

That fire engine i'm scrapping has got a lot of drawers in it nearly everyone has got two gas springs mounted either side underneath the drawer at an angle to hold them securely closed or open seems way over the top but they work a treat.

All I did was have a quick play with the new pedal for my TIG, for the life of me, I don't why I don't just run beads on flat to get the hang of new kit like any sensible person would do, the outside corner joint did not go so well, so I go and join a bit of owd thnwall pipe to a thick plate ?????????-but as my mate said, "you learn from it though" -yeah, I learned it be ezier to package the kit up and send it to hotrodder or langy to weld it
