Have you tried to use lots of lube/coolant to stop the chatter?

Yes, a little, dont have flood coolant as no space for the tray so squirty bottle it is

@Rrobson I did think it was asking a bit much of a turret mill, its a Warco so reasonably sturdy but nothing like old iron

Nothing fancy or complicated but having the right tool for the job is such a great feeling.

Needed to shave 1mm off this dealer hanger for my downhill bike to make it single speed. I could’ve bought a spacer to ‘bodge’ it but this is a much better solution to keep the chain libe perfect

You wouldn't laugh so much if you bit into it and found that missing bit of carbide tip

You might surprise yourself if you bought some nice quality hand files...

There again you could buy a milling machine for the price of a decent set of files these days!!!
