You can weld lead with tig or gas. That was my thinking.
I don’t think you’ll find many people wanting to make your roof from stainless. It distorts too much and is too expensive if it goes wrong.

Just a sliver of clean shiny leadNever welding lead in TIG - I suppose it would be quick like TIG brazing.
Use special rods for lead or just cut a sliver off the edge?
DC, and very low amps, an argon hydrogen mix gas is useful too, one of those jobs where one second its on the bench and the next its in yer boots
What's wrong with using box profile sheeting, comes in many colours, can get it insulated, looks neat & you can get matching ridge cap & fascia to finish it off.

Things moving slowly due to work
This is total overkill but I’m enjoying building it and it’ll end up as a conversation piece for my grandchildren eventually!
