Sorry to read that. Shame you are unable to complete it , you have put in lots of time and effort.Today is a sad day indeed. I’ve sold the trike, 90% finished.
Deposit paid, collection in due course.
I’ve not touched it for several months, and it’s a shame for it to sit there and fester.
Still, I had fun building it, which is by far the bit I enjoy most with projects. Once I’ve overcome the engineering challenges and the end I’d in sight I generally start to lose momentum.
I shall just keep riding my bike, maintaining that as best I can. It’s a struggle just to put nuts and bolts together now, and switching an angle grinder on is a two handed faff that will probably lose me a finger if I’m not carefull. So what's next ? Morrisman
And swing by Morrismans place when done and give him a ride....Sorry to read that. Shame you are unable to complete it , you have put in lots of time and effort.
Did you persuade the new owner to come on here to share the rest of the build
I can barely screw nuts and bolts together nowadays, my hands are getting that feeble. There won’t be any more major projects happening.Tough day, lots of sweat and effort has gone into the build, time to get the thread closed @Morrisman , just so you dont get ideas to build another every time someone adds a comment to the thread.
I know the feeling, spent my working life as a sparky and my hands were aching stripping a cable to connect a light fitting yesterdayI can barely screw nuts and bolts together nowadays, my hands are getting that feeble. There won’t be any more major projects happening.
Sometimes we need the hug icon as a like option, this is one of them.I can barely screw nuts and bolts together nowadays, my hands are getting that feeble. There won’t be any more major projects happening.
