Yep. thats how I read it, I must have passed a test years ago that I have forgotten about as according to the dvla I am permitted to drive cat C1EOnly up to 8250kg
Not read all the replies but don't buy a tractor and trailer. Couple firms were doing it and now been caught out by DVSA. If you get caught running a business with it trying to be smart they will have your pants down :O. Also one crashed recently killing a few people. I doubt it'll be long before the rules of it are changed again.
