Did my first bit of horizontal cutting yesterday. Cutting a slice from a piece of 22mm thick cast iron in a single pass.

I see possibly a jacobs rubberflex chuck? Or is it perhaps 5c?

Close. I have them in 5c and jacobs rubberflex. But to be honest I prefer my pratt burnerd key operated.
I also have the extended drawbar and nose piece on my cva for 5c collets but again the key chuck is much easier. Bigger overhang than the draw tube type of course but super accurate.
