I go to our local tip with the L200, never been turned away yet. The guys there are more concerned about what they can scavange from your load for themselves.
That's how it should be.

Thanks I'll give it another goYou can, just click the 'upload a file' button at bottom right of your post.
I was at a Steam fair a few weeks ago and saw a lady on a mobility scooter towing a garden trolley to carry her bargains![]()
They turn their backs to me now at the council dump and pretend they cant see me. A few years ago I drove in with the van and started to unload while hearing this increasingly loud "Oi" noise, took no notice but the "Oi" noise got louder and louder, eventually had this big red faced bald headed oik stood about two feet away screaming at me. I simply advised him of his job title , told him to be quiet and go away or I would knock him out ( or words to that effect) No more grief at the local tip since

Thanks I think I've got it covered but I'll keep that in mindIf you can't buy any replacements
Ask any of us lathe owners or some one with a milling machine to buy some square aluminium bar bore it through then cut the bar length ways . If you go that route they'll need you to take some measurements or find out the dimensions of the inserts from some one who has them .
I went to one bootsale this morning (Usually go to three at this time of year!)
Didn't get any tools but got a really nice pistol scope (£15), A great set of bins (£4) and two nice electric geetars for £20 each

The cynic in me wants to suggest that the bolt cutters were used to break into the shed from where all the other gear was nicked...![]()
Hi Slim

This was taken when I still had a small amount of floorspace to walk on!!!

I don't go to many car boot sales as a) there are only a couple locally and b) the other half invariably wants to do things of a Sunday morning
I did manage to sneak out to one a wee while back and find a Bluepoint hacksaw for £4* however. My dad has one that he paid £25 for secondhand when I was a kid. His mate bought one new in 1958 for about the price of a used motorbike
They are smashing things to use. They don't twist the blades like an Eclipse one making them much easier to cut a straight line with.
* He asked a fiver but knocked a quid off when he realised the blade was knackered![]()
