As various things are moved as they're sold, or being made ready to sell, an old favourite is uncovered. I'm going to try to make the time to get this 1979 Alpine Ski-Doo running and then see what (if anything) gets done with it then.

To be fair it was pretty well buried. All the times I've visited your unit and I've never noticed the track underneath![]()
bench space
That’s a good job done !Today in my homeshop I've finally managed to have an empty (almost but usable) bench top
Tomorrow I'll upload actual jobs in the homeshop
I did know of a Luego Viento ( a bigger 7 type car) that was fitted with a Viper lump that was later taken out and fitted to a 3 door Ford Sierra . There is some info on it on locostbuildersWould the owner miss the engine?, you could build one of these![]()
I need the bench to work on a 6 pot cylinder head. Trouble is, there is nowhere to put the stuff thats on the bench. My four workmate things are used up and both the vans are fullI cleared the top of my bench about six months ago, now it's totally covered again, and I never got the chance to use it between times.
When I need some extra space, I clamp a 2"x 4" with a piece of plywood attached, and clamp it in one of my vices. If I want to use an area on one of my benches, I can move stuff in the way and put it on the temporary plywood surface. Simple to make and store when not in use.I need the bench to work on a 6 pot cylinder head. Trouble is, there is nowhere to put the stuff thats on the bench. Thats a good solution for a temp spaceWhen I need some extra space, I clamp a 2"x 4" with a piece of plywood attached, and clamp it in one of my vices. Its a great idea, but what if you wanted to use the vice ?When I need some extra space, I clamp a 2"x 4" with a piece of plywood attached, and clamp it in one of my vices. At the risk of going slightly off topic, what 6 pot cylinder head are you working on?I need the bench to work on a 6 pot cylinder head. Trouble is, there is nowhere to put the stuff thats on the bench. My four workmate things are used up and both the vans are full![]()

I’ve recently managed to handled one on to my Triumph Vitesse - which was quite a heavy lump.
