I came home once to find a guy loading a rusty car wing from my garden on to a flatbed truck full of scrap and old appliances. I made him take it off and put it back. It was waiting to go to the tip but it was the principle of taking stuff without asking. When I checked the cctv he had come in the garden and had a good wander round. Didn't knock on the door or anything.

Brother in law was decorating the kitchen and took the radiator off to paint the wall. He put it outside the back door behind two closed gates and an hour later when he went to refit it was gone, never heard a thing.
