Today I acquired a new 12/24v probe, my favourite leccy gremlin finding gadget, my old one was only 12v.
And a few days ago acquired a satnav/dashcam with rear camera and gurt screen.

Retrieved it, found in one of the boys (men) rooms, it had a brass plaque on it, which he took off and lost!, so after testing it on him, found it still works fine and produces yelps with low effort.

Will make a replacement plaque, and it's a bit short for me as a walking stick, not that I need one yet, but have some bronze and brass so may make a doodah to raise the walking end.

Googled Iron Wood, Olea capensis apparently, lovey grain and no splits, it may not look much but it is seriously weighty and likely fearsome in Zulu hands - less so in mine

When I was a kid, was in a friend's attic, we were rummaging around for some model railway stuff when I discovered one of those. I knew what it was as I'd seen them in book form. Turned out it was my friend's grandfathers, who'd brought it back from S.Africa. It might have been nothing more than a souvenir, but maybe had some history in quelling civil unrest out there, who knows. A relic of Empire, for sure.

Got this 4th axis for 50 euro in yesterday.
Not sure about what I'll do with it yet
But it has an 80mm chuck might be useful and it's enough to justify the cost.

Some other scooter CV transmission pulleys to add the variable speed on the milling machine or the lathe, I have already bought something similar few months ago but those are way cheaper and I have more components to play with

An Enterprise rent a van.
Company car has gone wonky.
It is saying.
Forward assist fault.
All 4 4 tires are deflated.

AA arrived. found no issues with tyres, but could not ret the fault lights. This limits the car to 2omph.
So it went away and a van arrived.
