Finally got the screwdriver I've been waiting for this morning.



I must say getting a new tool every morning makes getting up for work a lot more tolerable, I wonder if I can get another calender for the whole year.

Well after having worked for weeks on my own leaf sight replica, happened to have found one on ebay for dirt cheap...
I feel little bit upset now

Not a KAC but another style replica but the same function, I don't personally like the side knob for fastening it on the rail system thought
But anyways it'll do the job maybe....
Cause my homemade one may look better once completed

Yesterday evening I acquired a Lidl electric die grinder, why ….. I don’t know as I’ve got an air one that I rarely use, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Perhaps I ought to take it back, perhaps not, I expect I’ll find a use for it, at £16 it seemed too good to miss.

Not today but during the last few weeks

3.3mm HSS Co bits to replace the one snapped two weeks ago

8-32mm deep and shallow impact sockets set.
Because I'd like not to destroy my Parkside sockets set (Wich are not impact rated despite they works great with an impact)

Talking about Parkside sockets set I've bought this one for my brother

It has a good selection of sockets and bits, he was talking about not having a proper set few months ago, he bought one of those small 3/8 set for temu but it's not complete
So having had a great experience with those sockets I've decided that he will found this set right below the Christmas tree.

Then I've bought myself a rifle carrying bag, because the one I already have it's not big enough to fit 2 rifles in it .
In addition this one has zip pouches and MOLLE straps to add others ones.
Three of them are included in the price.

I am tempted, but not tempted enough to go there before Saturday when things are hopefully a bit calmer. I have an electric die grinder that I use a lot, but I think the bearings might be on the way out, and I don't like the switch on it. And it's massive.

I only bought one cos it was crazy cheap. I have a Makita one which I must admit I hardly use because it's so big and unwieldy. The Lidl one looks more manageable.

I know they're made in China but I don't know how they make and ship them for so little. Economies of scale and high sales/small profit margin I suppose

Once you've had a backpack style bag you'll wonder why you ever used a normal rifle bag. A centrefire rifle with heavy moderator and a big scope becomes much nicer to carry across open terrain. Hands are free for binos or in my case, quadsticks.

I've honestly got this one because I need to store my airsoft replicas.
I have 3 AR style replicas but the bag I already have it's not great in first place, I've put two of my M4'S in it but the bag doesn't really close completely.
I didn't think about that backpack aspect of it but now that you mentioned that I've remembered about the last time I went to the airsoft field once finished the match and coming back home I was completely destroyed and had to park enough far away home and I couldn't get back home.
Because my legs were in pain already, I had a big Caterpillar bag on my right ( filled up with all the gear so plate carrier, magazines, helmet, pistol etc )
And I was seriously struggling with the rifle bag on my left.
Sure enough a backpack bag would have helped a lot.
I'll be honest I'm taking airsoft very cheaply, you can see people carrying real gear on their replicas I'm trying to go as cheap as possible both because of budget but also because if something breaks I'm not going to cry.
But I usually remove scopes before to put the rifle in the bag (QD mount )
